Athra, a leading high fashion jewelry wholesaler, is looking for an experienced national sales representative to manage major retail and e-commerce accounts with a nationwide focus. The candidate for this position must be self-motivated with the ability to manage and drive sales and margin. The responsibilities include meeting sales quotas for each account as well as generating leads, planning and executing sales presentations and proposals to buyers while providing outstanding customer service. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional organizational and communication skills. You must be able to cultivate relationships and build strong partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Provide and maintain good relationships with current and potential customers.
- Planning seasonal business by category; submitting orders; keeping accurate, detailed records.
- Analyzing sales results and creating an action plan based on those results.
- Accurately forecasting product needs.
- Providing competitive pricing while meeting margin expectations.
- Responding to customer requests for product development and working with PD team to determine course of action.
- Work with internal and external teams to accomplish goals.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Considerable travel to meet with accounts and attend accessory seasonal markets is required.
- Generating leads to new business.
Sales Representative Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, management, fashion merchandising or a related field.
- Experience with selling to major retailers.
- Experience in sales and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills for a variety of tasks.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with jewelry sales is preferred.
Excellent time management skills and follow through are also a must for success.
